CeBIT: Vodafone demonstrates LTE, the first phones will be released by the end of 2011

Vodafone D2 demonstrate its new LTE network of CeBIT, which recently has been available to end users in Germany. The company believes the end of this month to have about 1500 base stations operating in cities and by the end of the year to provide nearly complete coverage of the population. The demonstration included an employee of the company with a camera who was walking around and shooting pavilion and with the help of LTE modem video was broadcast in real time and displayed on television.
